The School of Embodied Leadership™ is a five day intensive training in developing yourself as a leader. You will learn to value, motivate, and bring out the best in yourself and the people around you.

Experiential exercises and team practices will dramatically strengthen your ability to stay focused and committed to your goals in the midst of complexity and chaos. Of primary importance is developing your core strength to extend into the world with clear intention, skillful action, and grounded compassion. This course will increase your self-confidence, focus all your talents into purposeful action and create the capacity to produce valuable results.

Dates: Program begins Monday, June 9, 2008 and runs until Saturday, June 14, 2008. The flight will leave Dulles Airport on Sunday, June 8 and return to Dulles on Sunday, June 15 – All session participants will travel together.

Location: The Strozzi Institute – Petaluma, California . Accommodations will be rustic, camping-style, and will be provided on-site at The Strozzi Institute.

Cost: George Mason University - University Life and the Leadership Education And Development Office will cover all costs except for a $50.00 fee that will be charged to all participants.

Applications: The School of Embodied Leadership is available to 20 George Mason University students. Applications for registration are due by Monday, May 12; applications can be found at the Leadership Education And Development Office (SUB I, Room 222), on LEAD's website at lead.gmu.edu, or through an e-mail request to jblank@gmu.edu or lsnyder2@gmu.edu. Applications can be dropped-off at the LEAD Office or e-mailed to jblank@gmu.edu.
