Student Virtual Leadership Certificate Series

The Student Leadership Certificate Series is a virtual leadership cohort experience, designed to provide students with the opportunities to:

  • Connect with other students around various topics of leadership in a cohort experience
  • Develop a variety of different leadership skills and strengthen one's own personal leadership skills
  • Identify ways you can help make a positive change in our communities
  • Develop an understanding of one's personal leadership values are and how they influence one's leadership style
  • Engage in a variety of leadership sessions that focus on leadership styles, emotional intelligence, and social change

How does it work? 

The Student Leadership Certificate Series has been divided into 2 different tracks.  The following tracks are:

Do I have to complete both tracks? 

Each track is a separate cohort experience.  Students can select 1 or more tracks to participate in. It is recommended that you complete them in order, but it is not required. In order to receive credit for completing a specific track, students must attend at least 2 sessions within the track.

Why should I participate in the Student Leadership Certificate Series? 

Students who participate in the certificates series will have an opportunity to not only develop a variety of different leadership skills and strengthen one's own personal leadership skills, but they will also be able to connect and engage with other students around various topics of leadership in a cohort experience.

What do I get once I complete each track? 

Students will receive the following items after completing each track.

  • Track #1: digital badge, certificate, and LEAD swag item
  • Track #2: digital badge, certificate, and LEAD swag item
